Adobe Photoshop

New technique i experimented with in Adobe Photoshop

The technique i had experimented with in Photoshop was the clone stamp tool which is when you click on a part of the picture then it i held in the cursor and when choosing a place to place the clone you start coloring it in which is from the part you clicked on in the first place, which makes a clone of that area

After using the clone stamp tool that is what the picture looked like, what i did was i clicked on the tree on the left and made one exactly like it right next to it on the left end of the picture and on the right i clicked on the tree to the right making a clone right next to it on the right end of the picture, also i cloned a part of the cloud and placed it twice on the top right area of the picture.

Reflection

How i have been able to complete the task:

i was able to complete my task as i got the expenses and fees of the things we pay for monthly and the different thing that we pay for monthly that i had included in my spreadsheet are rent, entertainment, food, gas, school, misc, savings, phones and housing and then with the expenses for each of the topics i  put it in the spread sheet showing the monthly budget total,the difference of actual prices and assumption prices, the percentage of the difference, average, maximum and minimum.


What i found most challenging:

what i found most challenging in this task was in the spreadsheet i used complex formulas and the complex formulas that i found challenging to use were percentage changed, maximum, minimum and adding the information onto separate graphs. also what i found most challenging not because of the level of difficulty but because of the patience needed which was asking for each of the expenses of the topics and then having to include it onto the spreadsheet one by one which takes time and needs patience which i challenging for me.


If i were to do it again how would i go about doing it: 

if i were to do it again i would use a lot more different types of complex formulas to give more information on the monthly budget and instead of making the information in a graph i would do it on a pie chart to make it easier to read and to let the information be more clear. Also if i were to do it again i would add more topics on the spreadsheet to make sure all the expenses are covered and to give the exact amount of fees we have spent in each month.


Conclusion:

in conclusion i would have to say that it is easier using monthly budget in excel for my parents as it is easier to add up the totals, get the average, minimum, maximum and much more so the expenses will be exactly precise and it is much easier that doing the expenses on a piece of paper which would take ages and might end up not being accurate.

investigation task

how did you get the project idea?
i got the project idea by going over what could be a good data table and i thought of a monthly budget giving me the data of what is paid ever month. i got the project idea by thinking what could be a good use of making a spreadsheet and i thought if i could make a spreadsheet knowing how much we spend each month that would be very useful, and i could get the information of how much was saved or wasted, that would be a goo spreadsheet idea, so that is how i got the idea of a monthly budget spreadsheet.


how will you gather the data?
since the data is about what our monthly budget is to gather the data and i will do that by asking my parents for what we pay for every month and note it down. To gather the data i would need to first come up with the categories that can go with a monthly budget and to find those topics i would search up the main uses monthly that we use to be able to put it in my spreadsheet. the topics i found that were the main uses each month and are the ones i will be using in my spreadsheet are:
rent
entertainmnet
food
gas
school
misc
savings
phone
housing

 and for each of them i will be asking my parent around how much is spent on each one of the categories each month, with that data i will be putting it in my spreadsheet and with the data i will calculate the total, the average and much more complex formulas.


what knowledge do you have on analyzing data and more do you need to learn to complete the project?
the knowledge i have on analyzing data is not that much but it is enough to achieve the analysis i need for the monthly budget data, the knowledge i have on analyzing data are the basics which are adding and multiplying data etc. and i don't think i would need anymore knowledge to complete my project. to get a higher level in my task i would need to learn more complex formulas and to get those formulas i would need to do some researching on different and complex formulas, and i could go on YouTube to learn the complex formulas and to learn how to do them on my spreadsheet.


how will the project be useful to me and to others?
the project will be useful for me to know what i could use less of to save money for more useful things, this can also be useful to my parents so they can now what their expenses are to see if they are short or fine. the project would be very useful as i could see how much was saved or how much was wasted in each month. also i could e able to find the total of the month and with the total i will be able to get the average. finally using the spreadsheet i can calculate the projected cost and the actual cost and then see the difference.

Reflection on Netiquettes PowerPoint

i think i did well in my PowerPoint because i explained the good netiquettes that should be used when using the internet, i also added what should be in a good email with examples and bullet points, i then created an actual email to show the layout of how the email should look like and put the picture of the example, and lastly i did a conclusion to finish up the PowerPoint and make a summary of what the PowerPoint explained, i think the only thing i had to work on was to add references.
